This course introduces the history of the early Christian church during A.D.33-800, from the Pentecost to Charlemagne. It covers 1) the Apostolic Church (33-100), 2) the Patristic Church (100-312), 3) the Roman State Church (312-590) and 4) the first stage of the Catholic Church Period (590-1517), the Church of the Later Antiquity (590-800).
